About Unexpected Life

This first novel of a three book series, is a story about love, loss, language, and the struggle between mature parents and their teenaged/college aged children as they all are pulled out of their comfort zones and forced to grow and accept change when they least expect it: on vacation. It touches on the anguish, anger, and reluctance of parents letting go of their children and children letting go of their parents, facing the truth that each person will and must grow and change to live. It is heart wrenching and humorous; exciting and thought provoking. Indeed, this is a vacation that they – and we – shall never, ever forget.
